Yogi, Voodoo and Bella HikeABull Sunnyvale Baylands "Bird's Heaven"

Yogi and HikeABull Buddies
Today we met Voodoo with Lisa and Bella with David at Sunnyvale Baylands.

310 Carl Road , Sunnyvale, CA (map) From 101 exit on Mathilda. Go North on Mathilda towards the bay. Mathilda curves right and becomes Carribean. Make a left on Borregas (at the light). Left on Carl. We met at the parking lot, early morning so we could warm up to start a Sunday.

Place is very flat along the graveled levees of the Sunnyvale Baylands.  We walked about 3 miles and took us an hour.  The most important rules about HikeABull group is to remember no face to face greetings, keep space between the pups at the start, stop and water breaks, and need to pick up after our dogs :)

Bella - Ducks were everywhere...

Lucy Is Looking For to Be the World for Somebody

HSSV's Lucy
Lucy started having playdates with dogs from Our Pack.
I heard from Marthina that Lucy is improving her playing skills really well.
Socialization is what dogs should do everyday. Good luck my girl! Hope soon you will find your soul mate.
Check it out video from Lucy's playdate with Dexter Our Pack dog.

To the world you may be one person, but to one person you may be the world.

Blossom - Bubble Mom Touch, Beautiful "Eskie", and Gossip

HSSV's Blossom "Eskie"
Blossom is 5-year-old American Eskimo "Eskie".
American Eskimo Dogs are often called "Spitz", however, "Spitz" is not a breed of dog, but rather a group of breeds with similar characteristics. Some of the other breeds included in the Spitz group are Keeshonden, Finnish Spitz, and Pomeranians.
The preferred nickname for the breed is "Eskie". American Eskimo Dogs are highly intelligent and make wonderful companion animals. Eskies have white or cream colored coats and come in standard (15"-19" - at shoulder), miniature (12"-15"), and toy (9"-12") sizes.

I found Blossom socializing our Bubble Mom Jackie. Jackie is our wonderful HSSV's Diamond Dog Volunteer as well Bubble Mom. We chit chat and exchange some gossips about dogs.
Blossom enjoyed beautiful weather in shade, watching people and dogs passing by.
Bubble Dog and Bubble Mom
Blossom is very quiet, sweet, adorable and soft girl.

Jackie was giving Blossom a gentle massages what give our "Eskie" girl comfort as well as aiding the nervous system and increasing circulation. Just watching our Bubble Girl and Mom feels so good.

HSSV's Blossom just relaxed, happy after Jackie's touch

Blossom - "I call myself a chameleon"

HSSV's Blossom camouflaging
The American Eskimo Dog is a breed of companion dog originating in Germany. The American Eskimo is a member of the Spitz family. Despite its name and appearance, the American Eskimo dog is not from Alaska; the dog's heritage is traced back to Northern Europe. The breed's progenitors were German Spitz, but due to anti-German prejudice during the First World War, it was renamed "American Eskimo Dog". Although modern American Eskimos have been exported as German Spitz Gross (or Mittel, depending on the dog's height), the breed standards are actually significantly different. In addition to serving as a watchdog and companion, the American Eskimo dog also achieved a high degree of popularity in the 1930s and 1940s United States as a circus performer.
There are three size varieties of the American Eskimo breed, the toy, miniature and the standard. They share a common resemblance with Japanese Spitz and Samoyed dog.
Blossom is 5-year-old American Eskimo. She has beautiful coat, little bit shy, and scared. I am looking forward to work with her.

Lloyd Smart, Funny, Will Work for Cheese

HSSV's Lloyd "Adoring his Bubble Mom"
Lloyd was happy to see me today. Outside was pretty hot, so we went for short, grassy walk. I started clicker training with him to get his attention during walk and keep loose leash. After all we ended up in dog park learning walking on the ramp. He is soooo smart :)
