Yoda and Padme are very shy puppies. Today finally Yoda let me pet him. First I started touching him with the blanket, what makes him relax and fine, slowly my hand was freed from the blanket, and I was touching his belly, chest, head and neck. Padme all the time was trying to get to my treat bag, so she was climbing on my laps, behind my back, kissing my hands and cheeks.

This two little ones are very interesting, lovely and very cute characters.

She is smart, already knows sit, down, stand, leave it, drop it, watch me, stay, wait, go to your bed, go through tunnel, walking nice on loose leash, sit nicely when people passing by. Her coat is brown and short, her eyes are smokey and brown. She is just beautiful, sweet and cute. Guess Who?

She is a breed mix, she loves fetching tennis balls, her coat is white and brown, her amazing amber eyes follow you all the time. Guess who?

Sumatra - 10 pounds of walking, jumping and kissing love

Sumatra is 10 pounds of walking, jumping and kissing love. She is a little, but with a big heart to hike, and keep you company whenever you go. I took her to a dog park, where she was chasing and fetching tennis ball almost size of her her.  Just kidding, maybe half of her size ;) I don't know whats going on but I am falling in love with big, small, jumping and kissing dogs

Today I visited Mindy. She is six-month-old puppy. Recently Mindy is in foster care. Renee HSSV Diamond Dog Volunteer opened her home to this beautiful girl. Renee's dogs Bella and Daisy are mentoring Mindy, to make her more social with people and other dogs. For Mindy outside world is a huge and unknown piece of Earth, so she feels little bit unsecured and overwhelmed.
Daisy and Bella are teaching Mindy how to beg for a piece of bacon. Mindy is an excellent student, learning fast, especially begging part ;)

Yoda and Padme - in Search of a Mentor

Padme and Yoda are looking for a dog mentor. Checkers was mentoring them but he got adopted, so our puppies are in need to find another one. They are shy with people, but warming up when another dog is showing them how to behave around people. They are brave enough to lick people face, to take a treat, but scared of people touch. I was chatting with Peter and Betty another volunteers, so Yoda and Padme, were climbing on our legs, playing with toys sort of tug-a-war. Padme was fetching tennis ball. They are really food motivated, so it will make easier to teach them lots of tricks.

Moccha and her Calming Energy

Moccha is ten-year-old labrador mix with amazing calming energy. She is nervous about other dogs, but with good avoidance, she can be a perfect therapy dog for somebody who will give her one more chance, and invite her to the pack.

 I am amazed with Moccha's teeth condition, for a senior lady she has beautiful white smile.

She can give you a couple of years unconditional love and trust.

Kona is warming up with people she already know. Her gentle side is shining as a diamond. She was born to fly for tennis ball, freesbe. She has invisible wings, making her fly high and bouncy.

Lucy and Addiction Factor

Lucy progressing amazing with her behavior. Once you meet her you will get addicted. She has weakness to cones, napkins, papers, leaves, anything on the sidewalks. She collects everything, and trying to swallow, to be sure her collection will be not missed. Today I desensitize her to cones, and we made great progress. She was able to leave hundreds of cones waiting to be collected :). Did I mention that she is already better with passing by cars and dogs. Lucy is one of my favorite Bubble Dogs.

Aramis is as beautiful as you see on the pictures. He is a gentle guy filled with love, he is keeping his room clean and nice. Aramis already knows how to walk or run on the very loose leash.

Tyra was much more better today. We went for a long, relaxing and slow walk, just sniffing around. My goal is to teach her enjoy toys. She was very suprised when I was fetching her toys ;), but followed me with super excitment.

Lucy everytime I visit her is making new progress. Today walking her was pleasure. She is not reacting anymore to passing cars, she is more relax about other dogs. Today we worked on wait at the door, is so tempting for Lucy to not wait, but we had some success, maybe quarter of second longer ;)

Lucy on One Wet Monday Morning

For Lucy is another day in the Bubble. Today I took her for a walk off the campus. It was rainy Monday, water was pouring from the sky. It feels like getting free cold spa shower. Lucy is improving in many ways. She can walk nicely on the leash, she can wait patiently at the door, she is not too jumpy as she was before, she can hold and not to chase cars anymore, she will give you nice watch me instead of watching dogs passing by. So smart young lady, sometimes too smart if you want leave the room without her. Hope she will find soon somebody who will take her with to a new furever home.

Kona is 5-year-old Border Collie Mix. She doesn't like to chase the ball when runs straight she likes chase is when is bouncing, so she can show her flying skills. I tried with her freesbe and definietly she is flying to catch it. Amazing dog! She could be little reactive to other dogs, they make her nervous, so with nice leadership, showing her that you are in charge she will calm down. Just love her. I took her for a walk during rainy Monday noon.

Checkers Adopted February 16, 2012

Checkers (center) is mentoring two twin puppies Padme (left) and Yoda (right). In their pack you can find balance, peace and lots of happiness. Yoda and Padme are shy puppies, but with lots of patience they will turn into outgoing souls.

Tyra - Please help her find new furever home

Tyra came to the Bubble about year ago as under socialized puppy, she got adopted, but again she came back to the Bubble. Her sweet personality helped her to find foster home and later on find people willing to adopted again, but things didn't work out for Tyra. Again we welcome her in the Bubble. She is shy, fearful, but sweet, jumpy and very gentle. She is one-and-half year old beautiful mix. Please help her find new furever home.
