For her 8th birthday, instead of birthday presents, Claire asked for donations for Yogi.  She wanted him to find a home.  Think back to the excitement of being on the cusp of 8 years old...  Can you imagine  saying... "and for my party, I want my friends to help Yogi.  I don't need any presents this year!" 
Claire amazingly raised $175 and we celebrated by adding Yogi to our Homeward Bound program.  Her gift helped us shine a special light on Yogi who had been waiting and hoping for a home for a long time.
And it worked!  We waived Yogi's adoption fees and he was recently adopted by a family who loves him very much!
